The XII International

Forged Figures Park 2010

Blacksmiths Art Festival

It will take place on September 17-20, 2010 in Donetsk (Ukraine).

The main sculpture of the festival is The Friendship Bridge. The first half of it is installed in Donetsk and we will decorate it with our works (flat forged pictures of free size from 500x500 cm to
1000x1000 cm etc.) during the festival.  Next year the second part of The Friendship Bridge will be placed in Moscow. I invite you, my dear friends, not only visit our festival but participate in this project.

On September 5, 2010 The Craftsmen Alley will be unveiled in the Forged Figures Park. The works on topic of Euro 2012 by Ukrainian blacksmiths will be installed there.

I also invite you to participate in the following events:

            - the Master Classes of blacksmiths,

            - the Conference of masters of blacksmiths art,

            - The Blacksmiths Cuisine cooking contest,

- The Blacksmiths Clothes contest.

As usual, Dmitriy Khaladzhy and Enver Izmailov will join us at the festival.

The specialties of our festival are excursions to Donetsk metallurgical plant and underground forging in the Salt Mines in Soledar town.
